Objective
To oversee and manage the operational, financial, and strategic aspects of a healthcare unit in alignment with organizational goals, ensuring efficient P&L management, excellent service delivery, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of P&L and EBIDTA, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue enhancement.
- Support in developing the annual administrative budget for the unit.
- Manage conversion rates from consultants, referrals, and various departments to drive revenue growth.
- Identify market opportunities, industry trends, and potential threats, adapting swiftly to changing scenarios.
- Collaborate with Business Development team to implement marketing activities, enhancing brand visibility and awareness.
- Control Capital and Operational Expenditures while ensuring optimal resource utilization and cost compliance.
- Proactively address personnel needs and internal stakeholder issues, fostering employee engagement.
- Implement and manage all HR processes, from recruitment to performance reviews, aligning with corporate values.
- Conduct regular performance review meetings with staff and department heads.
- Uphold NABH Quality standards, overseeing quality improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with clinical policies.
- Ensure completion of statutory and legal requirements, addressing issues raised during audits and reviews.
- Foster relationships with regulatory authorities and external agencies.
- Support the Medical Director in planning, organizing, and managing medical services, ensuring daily operational excellence.
- Manage services operations and maintenance of the hospital building, utilities, equipment, and statutory requirements.
- Support the implementation of CSR activities in the catchment area, enhancing brand recognition.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven track record of successful P&L management, budgeting, and cost control in a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of healthcare industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with quality standards (NABH, JCI, etc.) and experience in driving quality improvement initiatives.
- Prior experience in strategic planning, business development, and marketing in a healthcare context.
- Knowledge of HR processes, performance management, and employee engagement strategies.
- Experience in facility management and ensuring compliance with statutory and legal obligations.
- Proactive problem-solving ability, adaptability to changing circumstances, and a customer-centric approach.
